Hello everyone! 

After a month-long crowdfunding campaign, I'm proud to announce that we have successfully raised $5,352!!! This is over 2 and half times the amount of our original goal of $2,000. As a wage-less undergraduate, this amount of money is making me feel like Mr. Krabs from the show SpongeBob SquarePants (jk) but seriously, this milestone was only possible because of everyone's generous support. Even if you didn't feel as if you donated much, your acknowledgement of our efforts really means the world to all the students in our small club and helps give us needed momentum. The money we have raised will reduce each of our individual member's trip costs from ~$600 down to $370. In addition, it will help us cover additional car manufacturing costs needed for our upcoming competition and beyond. Being as corny as possible, I can confidently say you all have successfully fueled our future.

As of today, we have surpassed our goal of $2,000!! In less than 1.5 weeks, we've raised $2,024 from 38 donors. Thank you to everyone who has donated thus far. With 20 days left in the campaign, we are now implementing a stretch goal of $4,000. The additional funding will help further subsidize our trip and in addition, we will use the extra funds to help us cover current/future expenses relating to us building our custom car. The past year for our club has been full of financial hardship. We ask for your continued support by sharing our campaign to your friends, family, coworkers, estranged relatives or friends, and even strangers! We will do our best to stay resilient and not let your meaningful support go to waste!
