Fuel Bruin Supermileage to Conquer the Shell Eco-Marathon track!

Mission Statement:

This upcoming Spring, Bruin Supermileage returns to the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway to compete against 100+ of the world's ultra-energy-efficient vehicles. Our goal? To push the boundaries of energy efficiency in the ultimate student engineering challenge: Shell Eco-Marathon 2026.

We have the drive. With your support, we'll have the resources to win.

Our Story: Grit, Growth & The Comeback

We are the underdogs of Bruin Racing, yet we form an innovative tight-knit team and every member makes a meaningful impact. In the wake of COVID, we didn't just restart; we rebuilt.

We transformed from a team that, just last year, didn't have a single promo video into a documented, knowledge-driven squad where every member's work leaves a lasting contribution. This is our rebuilding era, and every bolt tightened, every line of code written, is a step toward our comeback.

This year, our ambition has grown with our team. We've successfully run larger subteams, creating more hands-on opportunities than ever before. Now, we want to bring that expanded vision to competition.

Your support will directly fund more member seats at the event, turning months of late-night work in the shop into the unforgettable, career-defining experience of representing UCLA on the global stage. It’s the culmination of a journey where students learn to lead, to build, and to persevere.

The Story So Far: Our Achievements

Founded in 2004, Bruin Racing Supermileage began its journey competing in the SAE Supermileage competition that same year.

We have since competed annually, with our primary focus being the Shell Eco-Marathon.

Our dedication to efficiency was proven with a top competition result of 1,239.5 miles per gallon, a benchmark that fuels our ongoing pursuit of innovation.
