We are truly blown away and humbled by the generosity and excitement shown by you, supporters of Foundations & Futures: AAPI Multimedia Textbook and UCLA Asian American Studies Center!
During our crowdfunding campaign, 151 donors raised over $55,000, with several additional major gifts that are en route to UCLA AASC! These funds will be put towards activating F&F across the country in classrooms, teacher trainings, in family and community learning and dialogue, and through the work of artists, creatives and culture makers. We are so grateful to the AASC community that has risen up and helped us meet our original goal of 100 donors to the newly launched first edition of Foundations & Futures. You are the best!
In this momentum, we plan to keep the crowdfunding page open until June 30, the end of the fiscal year, with a stretch goal of 150 donors. Thank you again, so much, for supporting the launch of Foundations and Futures: Asian American and Pacific Islander Multimedia Textbook, which is the most comprehensive history of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders available online and freely accessible for high school, college, and lifelong learners (www.foundationsandfutures.org).
