WE HIT OUR GOAL!
Dear Donors,
Thank you so, so much for your help. We are thrilled to announce that we have surpassed our fundraising goal of $6,500. UCLA Dragon Boat has officially tackled Tempe, and we could not have done so without your generosity and support!
With 6 days still left in our campaign, we are setting a stretch goal of $7,500. With this extra $1,000, we can subsidize our final race of the school year, SCDBC's Long Beach Spring Race on April 26th. Registering for the race alone will cost us $1,600, so the money we raise through this campaign is crucial for keeping our club financially accessible for all members.
Please help us continue our fundraising success by sharing the link to our campaign (https://crowdfunding.ucla.edu/dragonboat2026) with friends and family! Thank you again for your support. Our team would not have access to the same training resources and races without you!!
Love,
UCLA Dragon Boat 2025-2026
Final Week!
We are only one week away from the end of our crowdfunding campaign, with only $76 left to reach our goal! We are so close, and we couldn't have come so far without all of your help and generosity.
In the following weeks, our team will study hard for our finals and then take a much-needed week of rest and recovery before the Arizona Dragon Boat Festival in Tempe. We have spent the last couple of weeks training tirelessly on land and at sea, and we are eager for the opportunity to prove ourselves against teams from across the NATION. We are looking forward to seeing our supporters there and sharing the results with our supporters afar!
Once again, we'd like to give a HUGE "Thank You!" to everyone who has donated and helped make it possible for us to represent our school and community in Tempe.
We would love your help in spreading the word of our campaign as we enter its final week. This is the home stretch, and any form of support helps!
Love,
UCLA Dragon Boat 2025-2026
P.S. Last, but not least, here's a photo of your UCLADB Cabinet showing some love from San Francisco! We really can't thank you enough for following us on this journey <3
Halfway Through
Thank you to everyone who has donated to our project so far!
We have reached 65% of our goal with 24 donors. With these additional funds, we are now able to cover our housing in Tempe!
We still have 15 days left to reach our goal and pay for our transportation, food, and pErg repair costs. Remember that every form of support counts. Even just spreading the word brings us closer to reaching our goal.
Thank you so much again for getting us here!

Our paddlers are currently finishing up midterms and are eager to resume training full force for our upcoming race in Tempe!
We all thank you again for your donation and making it possible for us to travel and compete in Tempe.
