WON THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!

Yes, you read that correctly, two weekends ago we brought ten players out to Fort Worth, Texas to play in USTA's Tennis on Camps National Championships.  We started in pools with a strong 3-0 record against Houston, Michigan, and Georgetown to put ourselves into the gold bracket.  We then took down NC State and Rice to get into the Final Four.  

Due to conditions, all loser's bracket matches were cancelled, so we had to win out to keep playing.  We weren't ready to go home, so we clinched our semifinal against Purdue to take us into the National Championship game.

We brought business to the table with Georiga Tech in the final and showed up big for every match to take the tournament in dominant fashion with a 28-12 score.  We weren't going home empty-handed.

Since winning the title, we've had to adjust back to coming back to our academics and studying for midterms, but nothing can make us forget that we're now National Champions.  We hold that title with pride, but we don't forget your generosity which allowed us to play at such a stage.  

For the rest of the day, you can currently donate to UCLA Club Tennis as part of UCLA Bruin Giving Day, and we'll use your donations for buying balls and enterring a couple other tournaments to maintain that level, but regardless we hope to see you again when we try and run it back next year to get back-to-back National Titles :)
