Bruin Club Tennis: The Journey to Nationals

We are Bruin Club Tennis, UCLA's top-notch competitive and casual tennis club, and the largest club sport on campus!  

As a tennis community, we host biweekly practices for both competitive and recreational members to both hone our skills for the sport as well as foster our love for hitting with each other!  We also will host many fun activities for our members throughout the year such as our annual karaoke night, bonfire night, and banquet.  Our themed practices see us wearing halloween costumes, putting on our performative male outfits, or finding our Challengers trio.  We also host intra-club tournaments and have squad activities.

But one of the elements we're proudest of is our long-lasting history as a top team of USTA's Tennis On Campus League with over 350 members.  Our competitive team has already topped an inter-collegiate tournament by securing both first and second place teams at USC!  Our competitive team is a real threat to any other team across the nation, and we want to show that at this year's national tournament.

Unfortunately this is a costly venture, and with Nationals set to take place in Fort Worth, Texas, this becomes a huge financial strain on our organization.  We receive very little external funding, so travel and lodging so far away is not feasible for our budget along with all of our other expenses throughout the year.  As our team consists entirely of UCLA students who juggle academics with tennis along with their many other activities, passions, clubs, and internships among other commitments, it also isn't reasonable to ask them to pay out of pocket.  Thus we would greatly appreciate your support in making it possible to send our student-athletes to nationals this year!

Every donation big or small will be directly used by our club and team to support our student-athletes.  Smaller donations will be used for new tennis balls and other necessary equipment for our practices and regular operations.  Larger donations will go towards flights and lodging to ensure that each of our incredible competitive team members are able to go to Dallas and show the country why UCLA's tennis club is the best out there!

We really appreciate anything you are able to do to help us with our campaign to continue being the best UCLA club sport that we can be, whether it's helping buy a player's ticket to nationals or just sharing this page to show all of your friends the wonderful club that we are.  Last year it was through your support that we were able to send our team to Athens, Georgia for nationals, and we sincerely hope that we will be able to say the same in a year's time.  Thank you so much for your continued support throughout the years, and Go Bruins!!!!
