UCLA Scholarships: Now More Than Ever.

In this moment scholarship support is not just important, it’s essential. Now more than ever, we must invest in students whose brilliance, determination, and dreams will define the future.

Support our Bruins. Now More Than Ever.

UCLA attracts some of the most brilliant and driven students, each bringing exceptional academic achievements and a deep commitment to making a difference. Our student body is not only academically outstanding but also bring unique perspectives that enrich our campus community. With many being the first in their families to attend college, these remarkable individuals overcome challenges, break barriers, and go on to lead in their fields and communities. UCLA is a where talent meets opportunity and where the next generation of leaders and innovators are truly cultivated.

Nearly half of UCLA students rely on financial aid, yet many still face gaps that lead to loans, part-time jobs, and delayed graduation. Financial support helps students stay focused on their education, research, and leadership development without the burden of financial stress. As costs rise, UCLA is committed to keeping higher education accessible and ensuring every Bruin has the opportunity to succeed. Your support makes that possible.

Now more than ever, we need to invest in our future generation to lead the change that we want to see in the world. UCLA’s Financial Aid and Scholarships office has four distinct funds designed to honor the unique needs and experiences of our student body. Each fund represents our dedication to supporting every student’s journey ensuring that no matter their circumstances, they have the resources to succeed.

UCLA enrolls more low-income students than all the Ivy Leagues combined and nearly 9,500 students who have an average family income of $27,140. Donations to these scholarships help build a well-rounded financial package for our students who need it the most. Ensuring that every deserving students get a world class education and UCLA remains a leader in accessibility.

UCLA is committed to supporting students from Los Angeles by offering scholarships specifically for those who attend high school in the area. As UCLA is a vital part of their hometown, we believe it's important to ensure that these students have access to the educational opportunities available right in their own community. This scholarship helps make it possible for them to attend college close to home, where they can continue to grow as individuals and contribute to the place, they call home.

Providing a pathway for students from hard-working middle-income families to thrive is critical to UCLA’s mission as a public institution. Reflective of worldwide trends in population growth and life experiences, UCLA is uniquely poised to solve the world’s greatest challenges with innovation, diplomacy, and ingenuity. And with nearly 4,700 UCLA students come from middle-income families this starts with increased access for Bruins from this demographic.

The Undocumented Students Scholarship was established in 2014 to provide scholarships and/or fellowships to UCLA undocumented students as allowed by the current law. At UCLA, we are determined to provide supportive opportunities for undocumented students to thrive at UCLA regardless of financial and citizenship circumstances.

Each dollar you contribute alleviates the rising cost of living, empowering students to immerse themselves in their studies, explore their passions, and step into their potential. Your generosity doesn’t just transform individual lives it strengthens UCLA’s legacy of excellence, inclusion, and hope for generations to come.
