Essential Support for Student Success

Essential Support for Student Success

Our Mission: Student Affairs

At UCLA, we believe that every student is a future leader. As a top public university in the United States, it is our responsibility to equip all Bruins with the resources they need to thrive.

The UCLA Student Success Fund provides flexible resources that empower Bruins to achieve their fullest potential. Funds are directed where they are most needed by Student Affairs leadership – such as mentorships, academic development, and leadership development programs for students from all backgrounds.

If you want to help us create an excellent student experience for all Bruins, but aren’t sure where to give, the UCLA Student Success Fund is the place for you.

The UCLA Student Resilience Fund empowers students with the skills and resources they need to take care of their mental health and well-being throughout their time on campus and beyond. The UCLA Resilience in Your Student Experience (“RISE”) Center provides daily group and individualized resources to students, such as counseling, mindfulness workshops, sound baths, time and stress management techniques and more, fostering holistic student well-being at UCLA. In line with our mission, UCLA strives to create an environment where students feel seen, supported, and empowered to care for themselves and look out for others.

If you want to help us create a healthful campus environment for all Bruins at UCLA, give to the UCLA Student Resilience Fund.

The UCLA Economic Crisis Response Team (“ECRT”) provides timely support to Bruins experiencing unexpected financial hardships that threaten their ability to stay enrolled at UCLA. From unexpected medical expenses, to the loss of a job, to housing and food insecurity, ECRT ensures students overcome challenges and achieve their educational aspirations. This safety net is only possible in partnership with donors like you.

If you want to help Bruins overcome obstacles and stay in school, give to the UCLA Economic Crisis Response Team.

The UCLA Community Programs Office (“CPO”) Food Closet combats food insecurity on campus by offering nutritious groceries, hygiene items, and daily essentials to Bruins at no cost, no questions asked. The Food Closet welcomes over 1,000 visitors each week and supports thousands of students and families through food distribution events, underscoring the critical role it plays on campus. Without consistent access to nutritious food, students simply cannot thrive.

If you want to help us ensure that no Bruin has to choose between eating and learning, give to the UCLA Food Closet.

The UCLA Center for Accessible Education (“CAE”) empowers students with disabilities with the resources they need to fully participate in the UCLA experience, from reasonable accommodations, to assistive technology, to tailored career development, and more. The CAE creates an inclusive learning environment for all Bruins.

If you want to help us ensure that all Bruins have access to academic and extracurricular excellence, give to the UCLA Center for Accessible Education.
