Welcome to UCLA, Bruins!
UPDATE: Thanks to our incredible community, we've surpassed our initial goal of 50 gifts! Our new stretch goal is 75 donors by October 30. Reaching this milestone will help the Center grow its programs and create even more opportunities for Bruins to thrive academically, socially and professionally. If you haven’t made your gift yet, please give today and be part of building a lasting home for generations of Bruins.

As we continue to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, we invite you to join us in supporting UCLA’s newly-established Latinx Success Center (LSC). With its doors officially opening earlier
this year, your gift will help transform the center into a lasting home for students.
Nestled right on The Hill, the LSC offers students a supportive community, one where they can reach their full potential academically, socially and professionally. As we build this new space, we invite you to be part of its foundation, helping students to thrive, graduate and lead.

The Latinx Success Center is open to all students and provides advising, mentorship, study areas and event space. Future LSC programming will include academic success workshops, collaborative campus partnerships to address basic needs and student-created art celebrating UCLA’s community. The LSC is a place where connection and culture strengthen every student’s path to success.
We just celebrated the 2025 LSC Welcome, a free and public event celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, our new and returning students and our comunidad.
“The Latinx Success Center stands as a powerful expression of UCLA’s commitment to student success. By providing the resources, guidance, and community every student deserves, we create the foundation for them to explore their interests, discover their passions, and lead with purpose.” – Dean and Vice Provost of Undergraduate Education Adriana Galván
We're launching this campaign to welcome our students back to campus and show the strength of our community. Our goal is 50 donors — because every gift, no matter the size, demonstrates your commitment to student success.
For our newly established center, your support is especially critical as we build a foundation that empowers students with resources and support for years to come. Your gift will help us:
- Fund events like the annual LSC Welcome
 - Create welcoming spaces and annual programming
 - Build momentum for UCLA’s broader efforts to support student success

By contributing to this campaign, you will be recognized as a founding supporter and help create a lasting resource that will serve generations of Bruins.
Thank you for investing in the future of UCLA students.
Since its inception, the LSC has launched initiatives aimed at furthering our strategic goal of cultivating a thriving environment for all students at UCLA. Through engaging programming, cross-campus collaboration and outreach, we empower students to thrive both academically and personally, while promoting student leadership and community engagement.

Gifts are managed and invested in accordance with UCLA’s endowment investment policies. The total return earned in excess of the amount approved annually for payout will be retained in the endowment principal to protect from the effects of inflation and to allow for growth. At the discretion of the appropriate campus office, when the payout is not needed for purposes of the fund, the return of payout may be added to the endowment fund principal. In the event the fund does not reach endowment minimum; or the program ceases to exist at UCLA, proceeds from the fund will be utilized in an area and manner as closely related as possible to the original intent and purposes for which the fund was established.
Although the Endowment is intended to exist in perpetuity, unforeseen circumstances may alter or remove the subject area from the campus academic plan or it may become impossible, impracticable or wasteful to administer. In such an event, the Chancellor is authorized to redesignate the purpose of the Endowment, after taking into consideration the designated endowment purpose.
