Exploring Your Universe 2026
Description
Who are we?
Exploring Your Universe, or EYU for short, is the largest annual graduate student-led science fair held at the UCLA Court of Science every year in early November! This year, EYU will be held on Sunday, November 8th from 12-5pm. During this day, over 70+ science booths, planetarium shows, botanical garden tours, CNSI lab tours, and science talks come together to bring a fun, interactive science learning experience for K-12 students, especially from underrepresented backgrounds. Our program features subjects ranging from astronomy, biology, geology, chemistry, sustainability, psychology, and more! All activities are led by experts and scientists and geared for all ages (K-12+) and backgrounds.

How You Can Help!
Attending Exploring Your Universe is an incredible opportunity for students to dive into hands-on science and discovery, but we need your support to make it happen. Your contributions will ensure that financial constraints don't prevent students from experiencing this event. While in the past we’ve brought four Title I schools to campus, this year we’re shooting the moon and increasing to six. To make this happen, we need to meet or exceed our fundraising goal of $8,000.
By donating, you can help cover the costs for EYU to provide transportation and lunch for neighboring Title I schools and ensure a great science fair experience for everyone—free of charge! Your generosity will give the public the chance to engage with exciting scientific exhibits, activities, and UCLA faculty at the cutting edge of their fields, inspiring curiosity within the next generation of scientists. As a thank you, EYU is offering a special T-shirt with every donation! Every dollar helps us get closer to our total goal amount!
You are always invited!
You are always welcome at Exploring Your Universe! For explorers unable to come in person, EYU also hosts a livestream of the event on our Youtube channel! Check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/@exploringyouruniverse
Just so you know to mark your calendars—EYU will be on Sunday, November 8th from 12-5pm. We can't wait to see you there for a day filled with fun, discovery, and hands-on science. Join us and be part of this exciting event!
