It's been 30 years since we graduated from UCLA, and in honor of the great institution that shaped our lives in such meaningful ways, we are launching the #Bruins30for30 Giveback Challenge. Our goal is to raise $30K to support future Bruins in need in the form of scholarships.

Think back to what UCLA gave you: the friends who became family, the late-night study sessions, the fun nights out, cheering our Bruins on through NCAA championships, and the list goes on and on. That same magic is happening right now for a new generation of Bruins, many of whom are working hard to stay enrolled.

1 in 3 UCLA students are the first in their family to go to college. Almost half rely on financial aid, and even with help, many are juggling jobs and loans to make it work. 

Here's the good news: UCLA enrolls more low-income students than every Ivy League school combined, and 72% of Bruins graduate debt-free. That's not luck. That's generations of Bruins choosing to give back, the same way we're being asked to now.

Thirty years later, our friendships are still here, our memories still feel like yesterday, and our love for UCLA hasn't faded one bit. Now it's our turn to help the next class of Bruins get theirs.
