UCLA Cricket: Run for the Cup
Support UCLA Club Cricket
Who we are
UCLA Cricket is a club brimming with talented young players eager to further the sport and represent UCLA competitively. After becoming an officially recognized club sport just six years ago, we've grown into one of the most competitive collegiate cricket programs in the country — now competing and qualifying across two major national leagues: the CCL (Collegiate Cricket League) and the NCCA (National College Cricket Association).
We've previously placed first in the NCCA Pacific Zonals, reached national semi-finals, and were among just 12 programs invited to compete in the inaugural CCL.

Our Results
This past Winter Quarter marked the most intensive competitive stretch in UCLA Cricket's 6-year history. Across four weeks, the team competed in three of the biggest interuniversity tournaments in the United States.

CCL Regionals | Feb 5–7, 2026 | Los Angeles, CA | T10 Format UCLA secured decisive victories over UC Riverside and UC Irvine in the group stage, powered by standout performances from Tanmay Desai, captain Trinabh Khera Sahni, and Karthik Tholudur. After a narrow semi-final exit against Arizona State, UCLA delivered a composed 3rd-place playoff win over UC Irvine to qualify for CCL Nationals. Tanmay finished as the tournament's top run-scorer with 256 runs at a strike rate of 256.
CCL Nationals | Mar 11–13, 2026 | Lauderhill, FL | T10 Format Competing against a stronger national pool in Florida, UCLA faced rain-affected fixtures and a compressed schedule. A disciplined victory over Arizona State — anchored by Arya Panjwani's controlled 40* and tight bowling from Trinabh, Khush Bhalala, and Devansh Mishra — showed the team's ability to perform under pressure. Tanmay continued his elite form, striking at 270 across the tournament.
NCCA Nationals | Mar 17–19, 2026 | Houston, TX | T20 Format With just 4 days of turnaround and finals week ongoing, UCLA transitioned into the longer T20 format. The standout performance came from Naman Satija, whose exceptional spell of 4 wickets for 16 runs against Arizona State was one of the most incisive individual bowling displays of the quarter. Experienced alumni Anirudh Rao, Nitish Kovalam, and Dhruva Iyer were also integrated into the squad, reinforcing the team's depth.
