Road to ACRA Gold: UCLA Men's Rowing

UCLA Men's Rowing wants to win at the American Collegiate Rowing Association (ACRA) National Championship, and we need your help! As a club sport, we don't receive any funding from UCLA Athletics, and it is up to us as athletes and generous alumni to keep this team running. Funds are required for things as basic as boathouse access and uniforms, but we specifically need your help so we can attend ACRA this year in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Your contributions will go towards flights, hotels, and food for athletes as well as transporting our fleet of boats across the country. 

UCLA Men's Rowing is a Varsity Club Sport competing in the American Collegiate Rowing Association and the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association. Every athlete on the team sacrifices nighttime activities to wake up at 5:00 AM six days per week, just to pull on oars with us. Rowers commit over 20 hours per week to training and perfecting the art of rowing. 

This spring, we ask family and friends for their support. Those closest to the UCLA Men's Rowing Team can make the difference we need to send 46 athletes to ACRA this year. Last year we sent 36 athletes and all boats placed in the A-final, with highlights being 4th place First Varsity Eight and First Novice Eight, and a bronze medal for the Second Novice Eight.
