2026 Law Class Gift: Celebrating 25 Years of Critical Race Studies, Investing in Future Students

As we prepare to graduate and embark on the next chapter of our journeys, we have an opportunity to leave a lasting impact on the UCLA Law community and beyond. 

This year is particularly meaningful as we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Critical Race Studies (CRS) Program—an academic home for innovative scholarship, advocacy, and community engagement that has shaped generations of lawyers committed to justice. The Class of 2026 Gift Campaign is our chance to honor this milestone and pay it forward.

In addition to supporting the Critical Race Studies (CRS) Program, this year’s class gift campaign will also help fund UCLA Law Scholarships. We will strengthen a program central to critical legal scholarship while expanding access to a UCLA Law education for future students. Funds raised will be split evenly between the Critical Race Students Program and Law Student Scholarship and Support funds. 

Every gift, no matter the size, fuels initiatives that empower the next generation of UCLA Law students. Dean Waterstone has generously agreed to make a gift of $500 if we reach 75 donors to the campaign! 

By giving, we are not just investing in UCLA Law—we are continuing a legacy of impact and ensuring that future students have the resources, opportunities, and community they need to thrive. Together, we can create a ripple effect of opportunity, scholarship, and advocacy that extends far beyond our time at UCLA Law.

Graduating Bruins who make a gift of $20.26, will receive a Philanthropy Cord. The philanthropy cord is a gold cord that can be worn with your cap and gown at Commencement. It symbolizes your commitment to UCLA Law and supporting future generations of Bruin Lawyers!

Graduating Bruins who make a gift of $50, will also receive a UCLA Law Alumni T-Shirt. 

Graduating Bruins who make a gift of $75, will also receive a UCLA Law Alumni Tumbler.

Graduating Bruins who make a gift of $250, will also receive a 1-year membership to the Dean's Circle*. Dean's Circle membership provides access to special communications and invitation-only events throughout the year, including special updates from the dean on current initiatives and achievements, the Alumni Awards, UCLA sporting events, and so much more.

*Perks are intended for 2026 Graduating Law Students.

Picking Up Your Perks:
Please bring your gift confirmation and Bruin ID to A105 on Mondays -Thursdays starting on April 16th – May 8th during the hours of 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. to pick up your perks.
