UCLA Club Track & Field: Competing, Growing, and Building
Support UCLA Club Track & Field!
About Our Team
UCLA Club Track & Field is a student-led team of dedicated student-athletes who compete across all disciplines of track and field, including sprints, distance, jumps, pole vault, and throws. Our athletes train in specialized cohorts under experienced coaching, fostering an environment that is both welcoming and competitive.
Throughout the year, we compete in meets across California and proudly host our annual UCLA Club Track & Field All-Comers Meet at Drake Stadium. Beyond competition, we have a strong team culture and community through social events such as our end-of-year Banquet and “Trom” (Track Prom), celebrating the hard work and achievements of our athletes.
Unlike NCAA programs, UCLA Club Track & Field is entirely self-funded. Every opportunity we provide, from competition to equipment to coaching, is made possible through the support of our community.

Building Momentum
UCLA Club Track & Field continues to grow in both size and competitiveness. Last season, our Women’s team placed 8th overall at the NIRCA National Track & Field Championships, with multiple athletes earning All-American honors through top finishes in their events.
At the same time, our program has expanded significantly. This year, we have over 120 active members, making UCLA Club Track & Field one of the largest club programs at UCLA and among the largest club track and field teams in the country.
Throughout the season, we provide nearly weekly meet opportunities for athletes who wish to compete, allowing members at all levels to gain experience, challenge themselves, and proudly represent UCLA.

Our Focus This Year
This season, our focus is on strengthening the foundation of UCLA Club Track & Field and ensuring that every athlete has the resources to train, compete, and grow throughout the year.
That means investing in:
- Competition opportunities throughout the season so athletes can gain experience
- Essential training and competition equipment, including hurdles, pole vault poles, and discs
- Accessible participation, ensuring that financial barriers don’t prevent athletes from competing or developing
These investments directly impact every member of the team and help ensure long-term success, depth, and competitiveness.

Competing at the National Level
This year, UCLA Club Track & Field will send a select group of approximately ten athletes to the NIRCA National Track & Field Championships. These athletes represent the top performers on our team, with qualifying marks that place them within the top ten finishing ranges from last year’s national competition.
By focusing on our most competitive athletes at the national level, we are able to maintain a strong presence on the national stage while continuing to invest in the broader development of our program. This approach allows us to compete with excellence, represent UCLA with pride, and build a pathway for future athletes to reach this level of performance.

Why We Need Your Support
As a self-funded club, meet entry fees, travel costs, and equipment purchases place a significant financial burden on our athletes.
Our fundraising goal of $4,000 will help us:
- Offset travel and meet fees throughout the season
- Support our qualified athletes attending NIRCA Nationals
- Purchase durable, high-quality equipment that benefits the entire team and supports our meets
Your contribution helps build a stronger program, one that allows Bruins to compete, improve, and represent UCLA with pride.

Make a Difference — Donate Today!
Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us to achieve our goals and create unforgettable experiences for our athletes. All donations are tax-deductible, and your support is sure to leave a lasting impact on our club for many years to come.
