Korean Culture Night 2026
Who Are We?
Hello! We are UCLA’s Korean Culture Night (KCN), the largest student-run organization in the U.S. dedicated to hosting annual showcases that highlight Korean-American experiences, historical Korean traditions, and modern Korean society. Through a captivating evening of performances for an audience of over 1,800 at Royce Hall, Korean Culture Night celebrates Asian American heritage, promotes multiculturalism, and sparks meaningful discussions about Korea’s unique role in today’s global context.
What is This Year’s KCN Story?
This year's story will navigate generational hurt and grief. One family strives to overcome past hurts and begin the healing process in light of a major tragedy. “Between The Lines” explores themes of healing, grief, generational trauma, and mental health that remain prevalent within Korean American culture, shedding light on the quiet healing that happens within broken relationships
How Can You Help?
For more than 34 years, KCN has been built entirely by students—run with passion, sustained without profit, and shared freely with the community. By keeping admission free, we open our doors to everyone: students, parents, educators, and thousands of viewers beyond the venue, ensuring that financial barriers never stand in the way of cultural connection. Behind the scenes, bringing this experience to life requires over $40,000 to support costumes, props, venue costs, and promotion. Every detail you see on stage is made possible through the generosity of those who believe in our mission. Your support allows us to amplify Korean voices, celebrate heritage, and continue sharing these stories with an ever-growing Los Angeles community. Join us in making this tradition possible!
