Help Empower UCLA CampMed 2026

What is CampMed?

We are an organization at UCLA that hosts a 3-day hands-on, immersive camp for underserved high school students from Title I schools around Los Angeles county who have an interest in pursuing a career within the healthcare field and higher education. Through these camp and mentorship events, we empower students by providing them with UCLA student mentors and counselors, knowledge, and support to succeed in their educational and healthcare career journeys. We believe in diversity, representation, and shared knowledge within the UCLA community, fostering academic and personal growth. In order to organize this camp and mentorship events, there are a lot of resources that are required to run successful activities and experiences. This includes a campsite, materials for suture kits, and food which would greatly be supported by your donations!

Support CampMed at UCLA

You can directly support students and counselors at CampMed. Ensure the UCLA and Los Angeles community have opportunities to gain education and experience that empower them to become leaders we need now and in the future.

Your contribution, no matter the size, directly supports our club and students by providing the funds they need to advance their opportunities at UCLA and beyond. Mentorship and hands-on experience can play a big role in building diversity and representation in the field of healthcare and higher education. 33.5% of all students in the state of California attend Title I schools. Even if it is a very small fraction of this population we are able to reach, CampMed helps contribute resources and support that are valuable and comes from these shared and worthwhile community experiences at camp.

How You Can Help!

Your generous donations will allow us to host our camp on a campsite with room for activities, provide resources and tools for workshops, and support for ensuring a safe, fun, positive, fulfilling environment and time.

Below is a budget breakdown of this year’s expenses for the camp. With your support, we can make an unforgettable camp experience and contribute to higher education and opportunities for the students and community.
