All about Us!

UCLA Quadball is a student-run, gender-inclusive sport sponsored by UCLA Club Sports. We are a passionate team of student-athletes who balance academics, practices, and competitions, all while fostering a welcoming and inclusive community. We are 16 players strong and eager to compete at Nationals! Our players are competitive and dedicated to the team, and we frequently go out for a bite to eat after practice or an event. Throughout the year, we foster a sense of community and belonging at UCLA for first-years and transfers alike.

This year, since our team is the last and only remaining college team in the West, we have to travel to Texas for Regionals. Historically, we've been able to save costs by competing closer to home; however, sadly, this year, we do not have any college teams in the West to compete with, so we need to travel farther. While it will be an exciting trip, this unfortunately means that this year, each player will have to pay significantly more in order to compete at Regionals due to travel and lodging costs.

So, donations from this year's fundraiser will go towards repaying our expenses from our Regionals trip and preparing for a new year of Quadball competition!

For UCLA, this is a chance to continue our legacy of excellence. For the sport, it’s about strengthening a competitive, inclusive, and evolving community! And for our donors, it’s an opportunity to directly support student-athletes who are dedicated to representing Bruin pride at the highest level! We are so grateful for your support!

This year has been an absolute whirlwind of excitement and triumph for our team! We kicked off the season by hosting our 8th Annual Chandra Classic, competing against Lost Boys, an amazing club team based in Los Angeles, in hard-fought matches that showcased our teamwork and relentless spirit!

However, we aren't stopping there– as mentioned above, we are competing at Regionals from January 31 to February 1! We will be going against teams based in Texas: SHSU, Texas, Texas State, and UTSA.

With Regionals and Nationals on the horizon, we're more motivated than ever to keep pushing our limits and make our mark on the national stage! And we need your help in order to get there!

Regionals 2026 is taking place in Garland, Texas, and traveling across the country as a student-run team comes with big expenses. Between flights, hotels, and team fees, the cost can be a heavy burden on our players. We want to ensure that everyone on our team has the opportunity to compete—without financial barriers holding them back.

That’s why we’re reaching out to our incredible community—friends, family, alumni, and supporters—to help make this trip possible!
