Who We Are & The Opportunity to Make a Splash

Welcome to UCLA Club Swimming! We’re a friendly and inclusive swim club that has been bringing the UCLA community together since 2007. With almost 200 active members, we provide a space where students can continue swimming in college while enjoying a supportive and social environment. Last year, we proudly sent 20 swimmers to College Club Swimming Nationals, and this year, Nationals will be in North Carolina! We’re excited about the opportunity to have a historic attendance and represent UCLA on this incredible stage on the East Coast. But to make this possible, we need your gracious support to ensure more swimmers can join us and experience this amazing opportunity.

Our Challenge & Your Solution

Travel and lodging costs, especially for Nationals, can be a big financial challenge for our team. With the expenses of flying and overnight stays, it’s not always easy for everyone to join in. To help, we’re working to provide stipends to our swimmers, making it easier for more of our team members to take part in this amazing opportunity.

With your generous donations, we aim to decrease the cost for Nationals by over 40%, bringing the per-swimmer cost to under $350. This matters because it allows us to continue doing what we love, representing our school on the big stage and fostering an inclusive environment. Our goal is to make every competition accessible to all team members, eliminating financial barriers to participating in any club swim-affiliated event.

Previous Achievements & Future Aspirations

In our last campaign, we raised nearly $7,000 and had the most affordable Nationals for our athletes yet. At Nationals, we brought 20 participants and achieved remarkable rankings: 12th for men, 38th for women, and 17th overall, the best overall ranking in over a decade! For the first time in the program's history we had a Bruin National Champion, congratulations to AJ Fong for winning the 100 IM!!! We also hosted two home meets for 200 swimmers and brought 35 swimmers to the Regionals meet at UC San Diego as well as an invitational meet at Stanford.
