WHO ARE WE?
UCLA Men’s Club Soccer is a competitive student-run team made up of passionate student-athletes wanting to continue to play soccer at a competitive level. More than just teammates, we’re a tight-knit family that supports each other both on and off the field. Whether it’s at practice, game day, or a team meal, some of our closest friendships have been formed because of this team.
With limited university funding, most expenses—travel, tournaments, equipment—come out of pocket. Luckily, we’re backed by a strong community of alumni, families, and friends who make what we do possible. Your support helped power our successes this year—and we’re just getting started. Your support of the UCLA Men's Club Soccer movement is what we need!
HOW YOU CAN HELP!
Last year, we raised $7,389—beyond our goal of $7,000—and it made a huge impact achieving a podium finish in every tournament we competed in besides Regionals, and winning the league title. This season, we’re setting our sights even higher: reclaim our league title for the third time in a row, return to the closed division of Nationals, and chase our first national title.
To get there, we’re aiming to raise $7,000. Every contribution, big or small, fuels our journey and helps keep this program thriving. We believe we have the talent needed to get there, but we need your help too if our movement is going to thrive!
1 YEAR RECAP OF 2024-25
Spring 2024:
In the Spring, your Bruins competed in the WCSA Playoffs in Orange County. With two wins and one draw in the Groups, the Bruins reached the semi-finals which were postponed due to inclement weather. Your Bruins would end as runners up. The end of the year also called for celebration as the team held it's annual formal event with UCLA Women's Club Soccer in Westwood. On top of that, the teams held an additional senior celebration for the uncs of the squad to receive personalized T-shirts and FIFA cards.
Fall 2024:
Your Bruins started the season with a bang, winning the Aztec Cup in early October at SDSU. The boys won six games in three days defeating the likes of UCSB, SDSU, Cal Poly and more. At the same time, the squad welcomed 13 new rookies to the fray after a successful 4-day trial period. In the open division of Nationals in Round Rock, Texas, your Bruins won 5 games en route to the finals. In the finals, the boys eventually fell to Minnesota in a wild penalty shootout. Despite the result, Nationals were an unforgettable way to end the first quarter.
Winter 2025:
Your Bruins capped off a 7 win, 1 draw, 1 loss season with a 2-1 win against San Diego State at home. The result meant that the team had gone back-to-back, winning the SoCal Premier League title under the lights for a second time in a row.
Spring 2025:
As for our most recent tournament, the WCSA Playoffs, the boys finished 3rd, beating UCSB for the fourth time in the season 5-2 in the 3rd/4th playoff game. After suffering another penalty defeat in the semi-final against eventual tournament winners Cal Poly, your Bruins showed their resilience completing five games in three days.
