ULAA Scholarship Campaign 2025
UCLA Latino Alumni Association Fiat Lux! Scholarship Campaign
Since 1989, the UCLA Latino Alumni Association (ULAA) has supported generations of students and alumni.
The UCLA Latino Alumni Scholarship Fund was established in 1997 by ULAA. Every year, ULAA awards scholarships to new, continuing and transfer undergraduate students at UCLA who have distinguished themselves not only academically but have demonstrated a history of community service to the Latino community.
ULAA is not only committed to offering career-based programing and fostering networking opportunities among alumni throughout the nation but also awarding scholarships that support rising global changemakers.
As UCLA becomes a Hispanic-serving institution, we ask that you think about your time at UCLA, whether it was 10, 20 even 50 years ago. You may not have seen as much of a Latino presence reflected in the student population. A gift to the UCLA Latino Alumni Scholarship will allow you to be the light—paving a path for empowering students committed to uplifting/serving the Latino community, at a time when we have an unprecedented number of Bruins of Latino heritage the campus has seen in its 105 years!
In 2023, the award transitioned to providing one-time awards to returning undergraduate students who continue this service during their academic career. In 2024, ULAA awarded 32 scholarships to incoming freshmen, continuing, and transfer students.
Year-over-Year Growth in Scholarships Awarded
Each year, thanks to your generosity, more scholarships are awarded, opening doors for promising Bruins to pursue their academic dreams.
Thank you
Your generosity, whether large or small, has a lasting impact on the lives of Bruins past, present, and future. We thank you for joining us in our efforts to bring the gift of education to our most promising scholars.
