Help UCLA Global Medical Brigades Make an Impact in Belize!

Every year, we organize a 7-10 day medical brigade during which our club members travel to underserved communities to support Global Brigades’ established international clinics. In September 2025, we are excited to continue this mission by volunteering in a rural clinic in Belize, where we will provide essential medical and dental care, distribute much-needed supplies, and deliver health education programs to a community with limited access to healthcare services.

Belize, like many countries, faces significant challenges in healthcare access, particularly in rural regions. Our brigade will work hand-in-hand with local communities, offering critical medical support while promoting long-term health and well-being through education and outreach. Every contribution to this campaign will directly fund the travel and accommodation costs necessary for our members to bring these services to Belize and create a lasting impact.

Our brigade last year to Athens, Greece was incredibly successful. We had the privilege of providing medical care to 68 patients who otherwise lacked access to healthcare. Additionally, we conducted a health education workshop for orphaned children seeking refuge from the war in Ukraine, empowering them with knowledge and support during an incredibly difficult time.
