Thank you so much for your support during our 2025 campaign for UCLA Dragon Boat. We are now one week into our 2026 fundraising campaign, and we hope to count on your support again.

Thanks to your help, our paddlers were able to race at the 19th Annual Arizona Dragon Boat Festival for free and had their fees for our Long Beach races and 2025-2026 annual dues subsidized! Your generous donations truly form the backbone of this team, and we are beyond grateful for you.

This year, we are once again hoping to fund the cost of the 20th Annual Arizona Dragon Boat Festival. However, we also have another major concern. Our team's only paddle ergometer (pErg), crucial for our paddlers' training off the water, has been repeatedly broken over the last few years due to strain and overuse. While we are normally able to fix it with our available tools, the most recent damage requires many replacement parts. Due to the specialized nature of the pErg, these parts are expensive and hurt our already tight budget. As a result, we are pushing to achieve a fundraising goal of $6,500 to cover the cost of both racing in Arizona and repairing our pErg. Please consider donating or sharing our new campaign with your network. We really appreciate any and all donations; every penny helps our team train, paddle, and succeed.

Thanks to your incredible generosity, UCLA Dragon Boat raised an astounding $7,935 from 76 spectacular donors – a historic achievement for our team! Your support enabled our participation at the 19th Annual Arizona Dragon Boat Festival in Tempe last weekend where we had the opportunity to compete against teams from across the US and the world. Huge thank you to everyone who has donated to our crowdfunding campaign! In just 4 short days, we were able to raise $3000 to reach our initial goal of $6000. Because of this, we are able to tremendously subsidize our Tempe race dues!

As some of you may or may not know, our annual crowdfunding campaign is the biggest fundraiser we have for the entire year. This is where you come in...

Since we still have 10 days left for our crowdfunding campaign, we are INCREASING the goal to $8000, making it the biggest crowdfunding goal in UCLA Dragon Boat history! With this increase, we are hoping to fully subsidize all dues and fees for this Tempe season AND partially subsidize spring season's race, Baby Long Beach.
