Support the UCLA Men's Club Basketball Team!

UCLA Men's Club Basketball is a student run organization of 17 athletes, 1 student manager and 1 coach. Playing in the NCBBA, we compete against other SoCal universities, working towards to the goal of a trip to nationals in Erie, PA. We all share a love of playing basketball with one another, and we have built strong team chemistry that goes beyond the sport. Club sports has provided a unique opportunity to continue playing the sport we all cherish, represent UCLA on the national level, and work towards a goal as one unit. We have made the national championship game two years in a row (winning it all in 2023) and have confidence that we can make another run in late April. This team puts in a lot of effort and time to make this a reasonable goal, and with your help, we can bring another national championship back to Westwood!

In late April, we hope to be traveling to Pennsylvania for the national tournament, requiring a lot of effort on and off the court. The Bruins are on a roll so far this season, suffering only one loss in a hard fought battle against 16th ranked UCSB. The team followed it up by beating the same UCSB team by a 30 point margin. We have beaten a solid UCSD team twice and have handled business with all our other opponents. With a returning core of players that know what it takes to reach this goal, we are slated to be back in position to make the national tournament.  

Being a student run team however, the responsibility of paying for the necessities falls on us. Uniforms, equipment, officials, staffers, league fees, and the most lofty, traveling costs, all have to come from us. As college students paying for tuition and not officially in the working world yet, this burden can be a lot. While our players have paid fees at the beginning of the season, this can only provide so much. While our team is prepped for a national championship run on the court, we need help off the court. Your donations would go a long way to help us reach this goal and relieve the burden on our players.

Any form of donation would be incredible to help us pay for the many aspects of prepping for and getting to/from Pennsylvania. Whatever is affordable for you is extremely meaningful to us, as every dollar can help us with something. Even if you are unable to donate, simply spreading the word about our campaign would be an incredible favor.

Any of the above donations would be crucial for us, and would contribute to the national championship aspirations. Being able to represent our school that has given us so much, and is an unbelievable honor. Completing our goal wouldn't just help this year's team but will add to the growth of UCLA club sports as whole. Club sports is an incredibly meaningful entity in the lives of countless students here at UCLA and across the country.
