UCLA Law Fellows Program

The UCLA Law Fellows Program has a proud history of transforming lives. Designed to encourage and prepare high-potential undergraduate and graduate students for a career in law, increase the pipeline of diverse students interested in law, and demystify the law school experience. Moving the needle to create social change is why the UCLA Law Fellows Program exists. Every year we support a new cohort of around 140 passionate advocates in Los Angeles and California’s Central Valley as they prepare to gather the tools necessary to gain admission and thrive in top law schools across the country.

With both the 75^th anniversary of UCLA School of Law and the 28^th anniversary of the Law Fellows Program, 2025 is a significant year for us. As a completely donor-funded program, we rely on the generosity of our community to sustain and expand our impact. By supporting the Law Fellows Program, you will help increase the small number of underrepresented law school applicants that have exceptional academic credentials to be nationally competitive for law school admission by:

1. Creating a cohort of Fellows that support and encourage one another. 
2. Creating confidence and comfort with the law school application process and legal education. 
3. Increasing analytical reasoning, critical thinking, and writing skills. 
4. Instilling a realistic view of what is required to gain admission to law school. 
5. Increasing LSAT scores, increasing undergraduate GPAs, and increasing the application and admission rates of Fellows applying to law schools. 
6. Encouraging Fellows to strive for academic excellence, life success, and empowerment in their life decisions.
