Dear BMES Donors,

Thank you for supporting our 2025 BMES Technical Projects crowdfunding campaign! With your support, we designed a soft-robotic device for robotic colonoscopy, a smart sleep mask, and a machine-learning tool for personalized health monitoring. In the lab, we researched the impacts of microplastics on human health and developed injectable particle gels to treat peri-implantitis. Our teams presented at conferences and competitions around the country and showcased their achievements at the 2025 BMES Technical Projects Symposium. We could not have done this without your support!

This year, we are developing new biomedical innovation projects. Our students are working hard to design medical devices and investigate the biological mechanisms of disease.
