Hello everyone,

The Staff, Cast, and Crew of the the United Khmer Students Culture Night are sending this email to all of our wonderful donors to officially announce once more of our production happening tonight on Saturday, April 26th. Without your authentic trust and confidence in us, our team would not be able to fund this show's venue, costumes, props, makeup, merchandise, show pamphlets, and more. All of us continue to be touched by everyone for coming together to make this culture night a reality.

Today marks the culmination of many months of rehearsals and run-throughs, including our Friends and Family performance on April 19th, during which many of you came out to support our team. Finally, we will be able to go on-stage to show you all our hard efforts, dedication, and immense passion for our community, culture, and traditions. We invite all of you to be present for a night full of acting, dance, music, and community. Hello everyone, 

The Staff, Cast, and Crew of the the United Khmer Students Culture Night production team would like to express our gratitude for you all once more. Our Spark Campaign reached $21,662 with the support and love shown by 158 donors, surpassing our original goal of $8,000 by an incredible $13,662! Your belief in our capabilities to represent and demonstrate our passion and hopes on-stage gives us the motivation to persist in doing our best. 

We have only 16 days before Show Day on April 26th, and since our last update, our team has been working nonstop to polish and perfect our culture night show. From full run-throughs to trying on costumes, photoshoots, teasers, and more -- we are all buzzing with excitement to present our hard work. Again, thank you all!

Important update: We have since contacted all donors who unlocked the VIP tickets perks! 

In addition, we would like to announce that the free General Admission ticket sales will be happening tomorrow! If you are interested in coming to watch our show or gain more tickets for friends and family, please visit UCLA's online Central Ticket Office site, sign in, and be ready for the tickets to drop tomorrow on Friday, April 11th at 10AM sharp. Since Schoenberg holds a limited number of individuals, we advise that you anticipate being on the site early. Each account holder can receive a max of 2 tickets.

If you are not able to receive a ticket tomorrow and were hoping to attend, feel free to reach out to us! A livestream of the production will also be released during the day of the show, allowing everyone to view our performance even from home.

Hello everyone,

The United Khmer Students Culture Night production team launched our Spark Campaign on February 11 with an initial goal of $8,000. In just 23 days, we reached that milestone and increased our stretch goal to a tentative $9,500. Now, with only two hours left in our fundraising campaign, our entire staff, cast, and crew are amazed by the incredible support from the Khmer community and its allies. Thanks to 153 donors, we have now raised an astounding $11,087!

You all helped us meet our initial goal of $8,000, then exceed our stretch goal of $9,500—an amount we never imagined reaching. And now, we have gone even further, surpassing $11,000! 

For the past several months, our team has poured countless hours each week into this production. From late-night rehearsals to long planning sessions, our drama, dance, backstage, publicity, and outreach committees have been working tirelessly to bring this show to life. Every step of the way, we’ve been driven by a deep passion to showcase the intrinsic Khmer values of resilience, strength, and hope built from the stories we have lived. 

With our hearts full of excitement, joy, and gratitude, we want to say a resounding THANK YOU to everyone who took the time to donate and share our campaign. These past 30 days have shown us just how much this performance means to all of our supporters. We have received overwhelming support from friends, family, loved ones, alumni, and even those hundreds of miles away who believe in what we are creating.

Your generosity ensures that every Spark Campaign dollar will go toward making this a remarkable production. We are deeply touched to see all the love from our Khmer community and to see the inspiring messages many have sent our way.
