THANK YOU! New Pages for Pediatrics at UCLA Campaign!
Dear all,
Thank you so much for your support during our 2024 for Pages for Pediatrics at UCLA. Today marks the beginning of our 2025 fundraising campaign and we hope to count on your support again.
Thanks to your help, we raised $1,884 to print 100 copies of Thread by Thread, our 4th children's book, and we read them to over 120 elementary school students. We were able to donate it locally to Anatola Elementary school and Providence Saint John's, and nationally to Seattle children's hospital. With your continued support, we can print our 5th book, Sally Braves the Waves, a book about pediatric anxiety, and can continue to distribute it and organize local read-along events with the community.
This year, we are pushing to achieve a fundraising goal of $2,000 to continue covering printing, distributing, and organizing local read-along events. We appreciate any and all donations, since they continue to grow our mission to increase visibility for pediatric disability. Click here to check out our current campaign page and make a gift. Once again, thank you for your donation and dedication to our mission.
Sincerely and all the best,
Pages for Pediatrics at UCLA
THANK YOU! Here's our progress so far...
Dear all,
Earlier this year in May, we held a Spark campaign to fund the production and distribution of new children's storybooks to increase the visibility of pediatric disability! With your support, we raised $1,884, which will be used to print copies of our stories and ship them to hospitals nationwide. We can not thank you enough!
Over the summer, we officially printed 100 copies of our fourth children's book, Thread by Thread. The book follows the journey of a girl as she navigates the emotional and mental weight of her pediatric cancer diagnosis. We are currently distributing Thread by Thread to Children's National, Providence Saint John's, Lucile Packard's Foundation, and many more. With the start of a new academic year, we are excited to make progress on our projects, from illustrating our fifth children's book, Sally Braves the Waves, about pediatric anxiety to organizing read-along events with the local community. Once again, thank you for your donation and dedication to our mission.
Sincerely and wishing you the happiest in the upcoming holiday season,
Pages for Pediatrics at UCLA
