Who are we?

The Bruin Advertising & Marketing Team is UCLA’s only student-run ad agency. Since our founding in 1997, AdTeam’s goal is to build a supportive network of diverse students who are passionate about marketing. Every year, our team of 34 students participates in the National Student Advertising Competition where we create a detailed marketing plan for a client and present it in front of industry professionals. We provide students with necessary real world marketing experience and our alumni go on to work at top advertising firms and influential companies.

What’s the problem?

UCLA unfortunately does not have an undergraduate marketing major, so that leaves students on their own to find relevant work experience and mentorship. AdTeam offers both experience and mentorship through our supportive network of over 200 alumni and students dedicated to the industry. However, each year, we receive interest from hundreds of students who want to explore the field, but without enough funds, we cannot provide adequate networking opportunities and experience. 

How can you help?

You can help AdTeam support our community of UCLA students passionate about marketing by donating to our campaign! Funding for our team would help us cover fees to register for the National Student Advertising Competition, host networking events with industry professionals, and help us travel to the competition to represent our school.
